Landscape / Map / Place
International collective exhibition.
Artists participating in the exhibition abandon the avant-garde tradition of presenting the landscape, understood as abstracting from reality, reducing or simplifying. They look at the landscape from a current perspective, manifested primarily in the strategy of mapping, depict data related to various aspects of the landscape and geographical space, record human behavior in this space, such as moving or traveling. They also undertake a game with the landscape, its deconstruction, characteristic of postmodernism, and propose a new iconography.
